There is no distribution or anything of that sort for the album as yet. A will be selling the album by hand by the April 15th. Feel free to email me to purchase a copy of the album, Midnight In St. Kilda or you could come give me a shout at gigs.
It was written some time back in 1998, so it is actually not all that “new”. The song came together very quickly as inspiration hit me right in the face. It all started with a single chord, the C#m and everything else fell into place, from the chord movements to the lyrics and melody.
Funnily enough, the song was titles Scratch because the lyrics were quickly scratched on a piece of scratch paper.
This song is pretty much a straight forward love song and the lyrics have spelt everything out.
Scratch has been through changes throughout the years and it has come to a finalized stage now that it has been recorded.
I hope that you will enjoy listening to Scratch as much as I enjoy performing this song both solo and as a band.
Broken Scar is currently rehearsing for the new songs and recording will resume shortly. So far, four tracks have been recorded. The band took a break from the recording studio for gigs in between and to rehearse and work on the new songs. Log on to the blog for recording diaries and updates.
The current Broken Scar blog has a new domain name for easy access. Feel free to drop by and leave your comments and feedback at the blog. Bookmark it at www.brokenscar.com.
