It was a lazy day during the Malaysian Festive holidays where 2 close friends wanted to just bang on the guitars a little, since most studios were closed, Jen then remembered receiving a flyer from College regarding a new studio in the Subang Jaya area, being desperate, we decided to give it a try, and ever since then... Five Years Pending Knife was born. Lacking of a drummer, we have had helped from a good friend, and recently the band was completed with Jen on guitars and vocals, Alan on bass and Dinesh on drums. The name Five Years Pending Knife speaks of a dream to be heard and to be known in 5 years, and when that day comes, it will be as sharp as a knife that has been sharpening for five years... slashing straight through.
