Music contest in Melbourne draws Malaysian youth from across Australia
Up to 500 musically-inclined Malaysian youth from across Australia are expected to band together in Melbourne on April 7 for Muzika Musim Luruh 2010. In its third iteration this year, the musical battle will for the first time be open to Malaysian youth residing not just in Melbourne, but also to those from other Australian states and cities. “This will heighten the level of competition between contestants, and in turn provide a good show for everyone at Muzika,” event organiser Azrina Iqbal says.

The Federated Wins GBOB Challenge Malaysia 2009!
They were the runner up in GBOB 2008, came back with a vengence and basically murdered all the other 11 finalist! Crowned as the national champion, The Federated walks away with the grand prize of RM50,000 and offcourse, free tickets for the five band members to London to battle it out against the world in January 2010.

GBOB Challenge Malaysia Heat 1 (Tonight!)
The Malaysian leg of the biggest live international music competition kicks off on October 17, 2009 with ten of Malaysia’s band hopefuls battling it out for the chance to represent the country at The GBOB Challenge (The Global Battle of the Bands) World Final in London this December 2009.
